Vitamin A deficiency can lead to serious conditions such as anaemia, blindness, and increased risk of infections and death. Helen Keller International provides life-saving Vitamin A supplements to children in regions where deficiency is widespread.

Distributing these supplements has been shown to reduce child mortality by around 12%, making it one of the most cost-effective interventions in global health.

For context, 70 DKK can cover a child’s Vitamin A needs for their entire childhood, meaning even small donations have a tangible, long-term impact.
